Letter of Recommendation
To whom it may concern, This is a general reference letter in support of Bill Grover's interest in working with your company. Let me begin by detailing my relationship with Bill: From 2010 to 2015, I served as VP, Group Publisher at Media Source, Inc. It was in this capacity that Bill worked for the magazines I managed beginning in December 2012 as our Marketing Designer in the Marketing Unit. While Bill was not one of my direct reports, I supported the decision to hire Bill based on his professionalism and general positive attitude and demeanor. In the time we worked together (I left Media Source in July 2015), Bill proved my instincts correct: he is a consummate team player and a key individual contributor. Specifically, Bill came to Media Source to execute creative (art/copy) in support of a myriad of products: digital offerings; webcasts; and events (live/virtual). These business lines formed the core of our revenues. When Bill joined, the creative efforts were largely outsourced and thus in general disarray as there was no direct owner with final accountability for delivering a quality service to our internal clients. Bill changed that in relatively short-order. Bill is constantly geared towards providing unmatched customer (internal and external) service, while always looking to improve both output and his own skills and abilities. Bill's overall proactive approach provides his sales and marketing colleagues with a high-level of confidence with service deliverables, which in turn enables them to drive more repeatable sales. Of course, none of that would be possible if Bill wasn't comfortable and skilled with creative marketing software generally, and specifically talented in design and copy. Importantly, Bill's overall can-do, positive demeanor resonates and affects others around him to be better. I would be happy to address any further questions regarding Bill's skills and abilities relative to the position you are considering having him execute. Overall, I have no reservation recommending Bill. Respectfully, Ian Singer VP Business Development & Marketing Credo Reference 201 South Street, 4th Floor Boston, MA 02111 Phone: 617-292-6160 |
